Contact person for this position:
The purpose of the role is to manage in-season stock investment to deliver planned targets for each individual store.

The main KPI’s are:

- Manage stock investments
- Analyzing and compiling of reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Placing replenishment orders
- Placing store specific orders
- Analysing over and under stocks
- Analysing poor sellers and moving stock accordingly
- Liaising with stores on stock movements
- Ensuring the retail bins are sufficiently stocked by supply depot
- Exco pack submission of data
- Pulling opening and closing stock reports for exco
- Loading of price changes, new products, and items
- Loading of data matrix for campaign

**Order Management Responsibilities**:

- Allocate and replenish stock per target parameters to maximize profit and stock turn

**Category Replenishments**
- Support the Head of Retail in delivering proposals on key decisions to the business with visibility and relevant key data and analysis.
- Submit monthly sales reports / Inventory and discussions to Head of Retail (Monthly Catch ups)
- Analyze the Bestsellers and Worst-sellers and give the suggestion to maximize the performance
- Review, analyze and propose adjustments to allocation plans, based on current trends, store performance and feedback from field team. Consider Option plans and target stock levels. Create action plan in agreement with the Head of Retail.
- Review product performance daily/weekly to optimize inventory investment by store and drive sales
- Monitor under/over stock position by store, adjust inventory levels based on sales levels and replenishment guidelines
- Identify and analyze store/product statistical trends and propose actions to be taken
- Compile and analyze store history, by region and store profiles to assist future planning
- Allocate and build the stock for new store openings/refurbishments according to targets. Monitor new store performance and recommend actions
- Create, maintain, and update store/market profiles for initial allocation
- Assist Planners in identifying and recommending markdowns. Prepare option list with markdown price proposal then sign off with Head of Retail and assist in implementing agreed markdowns with Stores

**Experience and characteristics required**:

- Matric and Post Matric Qualification i.e., Business/Retail/Financial Management
- 1-3 years’ experience in a retail environment; Homeware, advantageous
- Excels at data analysis and the ability to draw inferences
- Strong business acumen and merchant thinking
- The ability to communicate and persuade effectively at all levels
- Ability to show initiative and be resourceful
- Ability to source and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Sound decision-making ability
- Must have excellent skills with MS Office (Excel at an advanced level) and/or other Business Intelligence Tools/ Planning Tools
