Amoury Controller

**Generic Job Purpose**:The Firearm controller is responsible for the coordinating of all firearm issuing, securing, safeguarding, and cleaning. The firearm controller also acts as custodian for compliant and safe handling of firearms.

**Key Performance Area 1 (100%): Firearm Coordination and compliance**
- Issuing and receiving of company firearms to and from security officers
- Securing of all firearms back to armoury
- Safeguarding of all firearms and ammunition
- Cleaning of firearms
- Recording all coordination on FAMS system
- Ensuring a safe work environment by implementing compliance procedures and armoury best practice
- Scanning of firearms on a weekly and monthly basis
- Any other reasonable ad hoc duties as prescribed by manager
