**_CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB: _**
The Head of Sales will be responsible for the development of the sales strategy to acquire new business and to
deliver on this strategy. Further, to build internal and external sales teams and develop all the mechanics necessary
to accelerate the acquisition of new business.
**_KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:_**
- Delivery of a sales strategy for new business acquisitions to meet and/or exceed budgets
- Expansion of the business beyond current customer base
- Promotion of innovations and technical developments that will accelerate customer acquisition
- Continuously build and maintain high performance sales teams (internal and external) and ensure all
mechanics are in place to support them
- Provision of high visibility of tracking of targets by accurate and complete reporting
- Engagement and collaboration with executive team and other relevant stakeholders
**_QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:_**
- Relevant tertiary qualification with at least 5-7 years of management experience, preferably with some
executive interaction experience
- Prior experience within eCommerce environments is highly advantageous
- Proven track record of strategy development, sales plan development and budget delivery
- Proven track record of effective management of sales teams
- Advanced computer skills
