Buyer - Plastics - R450k - R300k

**Responsibilities**:

- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate procurement contracts, and establish strong relationships with suppliers in the plastics industry.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand the requirements and specifications of plastic materials needed for various projects.
- Analyze market trends and stay up-to-date with industry developments to ensure the best quality and cost for clients' plastic material needs.
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with procurement policies.
- Manage the procurement process from order placement to delivery, ensuring on-time delivery of plastic materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock levels to minimize costs and avoid shortage or excess.
- Analyze supplier performance and implement improvement measures to enhance efficiency and supplier relationships.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Buyer in the Plastics industry.
- Proven negotiation and communication skills to effectively work with suppliers and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
