Landscaping Supervisor

**R**ole Description**

The Landscaping Supervisor will be responsible for leading and overseeing the team of general workers and ensuring that all landscaping tasks are completed to a high standard. Tasks include scheduling and coordinating work activities, inspecting and maintaining equipment, managing the team's work quality and safety performance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

**Duties and minimum requirements**
- 5 years' experience in landscaping and horticulture, with a demonstrated ability to lead and supervise teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs, grass, and soil, as well as plant pests and diseases
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, lifting, and standing for long periods of time
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Clean criminal record
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Computer literate
