Looking for a skilled and motivated Capital Short Term Actuary to join our team

We are a dynamic and growing company seeking an experienced Actuary with a strong background in short-term capital management. As a Capital Short Term Actuary you will be responsible for evaluating and assessing the company's short-term capital needs and making recommendations for investment and risk management strategies.

**Requirements**:

- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as an Actuary, with a focus on capital management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or SAS.
- Familiarity with actuarial software such as Prophet, AXIS, or MoSes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze short-term capital needs and develop strategies to manage risk and maximize returns.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and make recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and maintain financial models and projections.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure that capital management strategies align with overall business objectives.
- Monitor and report on investment performance and risk exposure.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in capital management and actuarial science.
