The Butchery Manager is responsible for the butchery, product availability, and quality; production, and the maintenance of housekeeping and merchandise standards. Maximising sales while minimising expenses through effective people management and implementation of all Company Standards, Policies, and Procedures.

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**:

- Gross Profit and Sales
- Cold Chain Management and Buying
- Production and Merchandising
- Housekeeping and HSSE
- Equipment and Assets
- Administration and Systems
- Operations and Security
- People and Customer Service
- Grade 12
- Minimum 3 years of management experience within the Meat industry
- Knowledge of meat cuts/ products
- Knowledge of meat market operations & hygiene and safety standards
- Operation of meat market equipment (i.e. scale, cling-wrap machine, mixer, filler)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent computer literacy
- Must have excellent numerical/financial skills
- Delivering results and meeting customers’ expectations
- Following instructions and procedures
- Coping with pressures and setbacks
- Problem-solving skills

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month
