A lovely family is looking for an Au pair for their 2 children

**Area**:Windsor Glen, Randburg

**Children’s Ages**:8.5 year old boy; 6.5 year old girl

**Working hours**:Monday to Friday - approximately 14h00/15h00 to 17h00/18h00 (Approximately 3 hours per day)

**School holiday hours**:
***same as above

**Duties**:Collect from school, Take to extra-murals, Assist with and supervise homework, Engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, Bathing your children, Occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement)

**Special Requirements**:Afrikaans first-language speaker (non-negotiable as 8.5 year old particularly is struggling with reading and writing and needs home work support in Afrikaans as our home language.). Someone a bit "older" i.e. at least 25 years and older; Someone with a love for reading and that has a passion to help children with homework, reading; writing. Someone that has a teaching / ECD / education background or is currently studying in that field. Someone that is firm and strong (as my children are strong-willed) but kind; and not too "soft" or a push-over. Someone that loves sport and is an active person that will play WITH my children and not sit on a couch - busy on her phone - not necessarily a participant but a passionate supporter (Rugby, Cricket, gymnastics, netball, dancing, drum majorettes, walking, running). a Non-smoker.

**Start Date and contract term**: ASAP - permanent

**Offered Salary**:
**R6000pm** plus SARS rates per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child-caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

**Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

**Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

**Must have a clear criminal record

**Must have a passion for children

**Must have Matric

**Must have a South African ID document.
