**Job Context**:
**SERVEST PARKING A BUSINESS UNIT OF SERVEST HAS A VACANCY FOR A PROJECT MANAGER IN THE GAUTENG REGION REPORTING TO THE NATIONAL OPERATIONS DIRECTOR. THE PROJECT MANAGER REMAINS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE AND ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE OVERALL OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT WITHIN THE BUSINESS UNIT.**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- South African Citizen;
- Grade 12 and a tertiary qualification in Project management ;
- 5 Years’ experience in parking operations / managerial position;
- 5 Years’ experience of managing parking equipment (ZEAG/Intellepark)
- Proven experience in project management, with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Jira.
- Clear criminal record;
- Basic understanding of financials;
- Interpersonal communication and client liaison skills (verbal & written);
- Strong planning, leadership, organisational skills;
- Effective time management;
- Good computer literacy (Word, Excel & Outlook);
- Strong motivational skills;
- Strong problem solving ability;
- Ability to implement, maintain and enforce policies and procedures;
**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Assist and carry out all assigned projects.
- Review and dissect current management structure.
- Develop a comprehensive view of parking; technical systems and operational colleagues deployed
- Identify and prioritize immediate risk issues and client concerns.
- Evaluate the overall past performance and sustainability based on current risks and expansion
- Review and analyse past and current FY budgets
- Update and compile factual asset register
- Review and renegotiate agreements with suppliers
- Analyse gross profit margins related to individual clients
- Implement revenue tracking process
- Ensure chart reflects current roles in operations
- Identify areas for cost reduction in operations
- Inventory all owned equipment
- Manage and review rented equipment
- Standardize uniform, assess the condition of staff appearance on the ground
- Improve consumable ordering processes including Tickets, Till roll, cleaning material
- Analyse and match debtors with threats and tasks
- Develop and execute debt collection plan
- Review and enhance performance management systems; establishment of KPI structure
- Implement a system to track productivity in operations
- Assess and develop colleagues skills
- Assess and strengthen internal controls in systems
- Monitor and manage manpower, verify manpower deployed against contractual obligations
- Identify and address potential threats to client retention
- Reconcile client register with billing records
- Address challenges affecting client retention
- Review and update client renewal schedules
- Ensure SLAs are met and updated
- Schedule for annual increases to reviewed
- Maintain a register of client relationship owners
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for services.
- Identify and prioritize new business prospects
- Implement upselling strategies for services
