Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Economics

**Skills and experience required**:
At least 5 years retail experience, working as a planner.

Experience as a Homeware Planner - advantageous

Understanding of commerce from a merchants point.

Intermediate to advanced working experience on Excel.

Deadline driven, ability to solve problems, using own initiative.

Proactive, with the ability to make decision and work independently.

**Job description**:
Working closely with Creative Director and Buyers and taking ownership of the following:
Strategy

Contribute to the planning/buying process and strategy.

Implement the departmental strategy.

Ensure correct allocations by providing timeous and accurate information.

Develop plans and strategies in conjunction with buyers which will achieve sales and profit targets.

Stock Management

Forecast and manage the intake of stock in line with agreed stock levels.

Work closely with supply chain team so that planned launch and replenishment dates are met.

Ensure replenishment volumes for continuity product.

Monitor the availability of stock and terminal stock.

Ensure stock efficiency through in season trading and allow for forward covers.
