- R 45000 - R 55000 Monthly Cost To Company- Utility management measures and manages the impact of the provision of utilities and the accurate and timely recovery of usage costs on the business, including early detection of waste and optimising efficiency by studying and interpreting quality, trackable historic data. This role specifically focuses on managing the provision and recovery of energy provided by solar and generators using diesel.
- REQUIREMENTS:

- B Eng Tech or equivalent, or Business Finance qualification
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of:

- The different aspects of the property industry.
- Data modelling and -analyses.
- Health and Safety regulations impacting design.
- Municipal regulations, by-laws and legislation that impact the property industry.
- Budgeting, project costing and investment decision-making related to the property sector.
- Five years+ experience in the property sector, of which two years must have been in Utilities

DUTIES:
Facilitate energy payment costs
- Obtain beneficial prices and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Ensure timely and accurate payment within agreed terms
- Effective stock control.
- Implement and maintain effective control processes to manage risks related to theft, fire, pollution or technical malfunctions

Facilitate energy recovery costs
- Ensure accurate metering for optimal recovery.
- Ensure accurate, timely billing at the appropriate tariff.
- Conducts regular and accurate reconciliations between generator check meter and sub-metering.

Manage the assets register related to the provision of energy
- Maintain an accurate and current asset register of all installations per site and changes to generator equipment at a site.
