Job Title: JUNIOR BOOKKEEPER

Position Type: Full-Time Onsite Position

Location: Table View, Cape Town

**Junior Bookkeeper Job Specification**

This role requires an organized individual who works well under pressure.

**Requirements**:
Minimum of 1+ years of experience in related field

Basic accounting knowledge (studied accounting in school or currently studying toward a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in accounting)

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook

Pastel & Xero experience is beneficial

SARS eFiling experience is also beneficial

Provide contactable references

**Roles and Responsibilities**

Include, but not limited to:

- Invoices & cashbook processing
- Reconciliation of work captured
- Accurate record keeping
- Monthly submission of VAT and payroll
- Experience with bookkeeping to trial balance - beneficial
- Experience with individual and company income and provisional tax submissions - beneficial
- Adhoc admin/accounting duties assigned by the Accounting Manager
