Cctv Operator

**Position: CCTV Control Room Operator**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor live CCTV feeds and alarm systems to identify and respond to any suspicious or unauthorized activities promptly.
- Maintain constant vigilance to ensure the safety and security of the premises, assets, and personnel.
- Collaborate with on-site security personnel and law enforcement agencies to coordinate and assist in emergency responses and incident management.
- Operate and control access to various security systems, including but not limited to CCTV cameras, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
- Record and document all incidents, activities, and observations accurately in the designated logbook or digital platform.
- Conduct routine system checks and report any equipment malfunctions or technical issues to the appropriate authorities for resolution.
- Conduct regular assessments of security risks and implement necessary measures to enhance security protocols.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information and adhere to all company policies and legal guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- PSIRA Grade A certification is mandatory. Applicants without this certification will not be considered.
- Proven experience as a CCTV Control Room Operator or similar surveillance-related role.
- Excellent computer literacy and proficiency in operating security systems and monitoring software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively during high-pressure situations.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with colleagues and external authorities.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically in emergency scenarios.
- A commitment to maintaining high levels of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.

**Additional Information**:

- Location: Springs
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Remuneration: Salary/Benefits package will be discussed during the interview process
- Time: 12 hour shifts 6:00-18:00
