Learning Architect

Applications are invited for the **Learning Architect** position at Herotel. This will be a remote based position but travelling to our National Support Office based in Stellenbosch, will be required as and when needed.
**About the role**:The **Learning Architect** collaborates closely with the Head of Learning and Development to ensure that the Learning and Development function's learning solutions are customer-centric, and aligned with and supports the strategic goals and objectives of the company.
The individual in this role is accountable for comprehending activities and processes at a detailed level, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and the achievement of objectives related thereto. Primarily they are responsible for delivering training and facilitating business alignment sessions in accordance with L&D's tactical plan.
**Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:
- Assess training needs to identify skill needs, performance gaps, and related processes that require improvement.
- Identify and implement learning solutions to improve and align processes, knowledge and skills with company objectives relating to delivering a superior customer experience.
- Design and develop training resources, such as training manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and job aids to address skills gaps.
- Maintain training documentation in line with L&D processes and related systems.
- Communicate and provide access to training initiatives through L&D systems and processes to ensure scalability and measurability of the success of these initiatives.
- Implement effective learning and development solutions in various formats to address identified training needs and make recommendations on improving efficiencies pertaining to resources, roles, activities, and company structures where these are identified.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through data analysis, learner and customer feedback, and performance metrics.
- Report on the effectiveness of Learning and Development initiatives as well as related business insights.
- Provide coaching to employees and managers, in support of their development needs, where required as part of the tactical plan.
**Key Outputs**:
- Comprehensive and impactful learning solutions and tactics that support Operational learning goals, in line with training budget.
- Insights into ways of working, processes, involved stakeholders and areas requiring improvement.
- Training evaluation reports and data-driven insights for continuous improvement of learning programmes.
- Documentation and guidelines for instructional designers.
**Experience**:
- Experience in telecommunications industry is preferable.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience working in a position involved in providing learning, coaching and business solutions.
- Knowledge of customer-facing business activities, processes, performance metrics, training, and coaching methodologies.
- Must have a good business acumen and a broad understanding of business tactics, processes, and technologies.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies**:
- Technical knowledge pertaining to the telecommunications industry, technologies, products, services, and other relevant solutions.
- Project management skills to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and allocate resources effectively.
- Problem solving abilities to identify and address performance, process, and systems gaps through effective learning solutions.
- Creativity and innovation in designing and engaging in interactive learning experiences.

**Qualifications / Education Requirements**:
- Grade 12
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in the applicable field will be beneficial.
