- Estimator Planner- Job Overview: As an Estimator Planner, you will play a crucial role in the planning and estimation process for construction projects. You will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, conducting cost assessments, and creating detailed project plans. Your expertise in estimating project timelines, resources, and costs will contribute to the successful execution of construction projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.- Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to understand project requirements.- Conduct accurate and comprehensive cost estimations for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules.- Create detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and critical path analysis.- Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution and propose mitigation strategies.- Monitor project progress and update plans as necessary to ensure adherence to timelines and budget.- Coordinate with procurement teams to obtain accurate pricing and availability of materials and equipment.- Prepare and present project estimates and plans to clients, management, and other stakeholders.- Maintain accurate records of project data, including estimates, plans, and cost tracking.- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.- Proven experience as an Estimator Planner or similar role in the construction industry.- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.- Proficiency in using estimation software and tools.- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret project specifications and drawings.- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Proficiency in project management software and tools.- Familiarity with relevant regulations and codes related to construction projects.- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.- Remuneration:
