Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required:
- National senior certificate or equivalent. - Previous experience operating the Kornit or similar DTG printing machine is required. - Strong technical skills and understanding of DTG printing processes, including colour separation, file preparation - Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving common printing machine issues. - Knowledge of garment printing techniques, fabrics, and colour fastness is a plus. - Familiarity with design software, such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, Corel draw is desirable.

Brief Description of Key Performance Areas:
- Set up, operate, and monitor the Kornit DTG printing machine according to job specifications. - Manage workflow into and out of the POD department - Load and unload garments onto the machine, ensuring proper placement and alignment for accurate printing. - Prepare and adjust artwork files, including colour separation and image sizing, to optimize print quality. - Perform routine maintenance on the machine, such as cleaning print heads, changing filters, and replacing parts as needed. - Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or notify maintenance personnel for more complex problems. - Conduct quality inspections of printed garments to ensure adherence to specifications and make adjustments as necessary. - Monitor production workflow and coordinate with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines. - Maintain inventory of consumables and place orders for ink, pre-treatment solutions, and other supplies. - Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. - Document production data, including quantities, timeframes, and any production issues or delays.
