**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, such as computer crashes, network connectivity problems, printer malfunctions, and software configuration errors.
- Set up and deploy new workstations, ensuring proper installation and connectivity.
- Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access rights within our IT systems.
- Assist with the maintenance and administration of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Monitor and respond to system alerts and notifications to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and document troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and industry developments.

**Requirements**:

- High school Grade 12 or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical training is a plus CompTIA A+or N.
- Previous experience in an IT support role or customer service position is desirable.
- Familiarity with common productivity software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, user account management, and security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
