Our client is recruiting for an experienced Butchery Supervisor to join their team in Khayelitsha and Gugulethu stores.

**Job Purpose**:
Responsible for maintaining a fully functioning Butchery Department and promote excellent customer service and communication. Full management of butchery department and staff.

**Responsibilities**:
Meet customer needs with a smiling face

Always make our customers know that they are important

Handle all customer questions and concerns

Ensure that Butchery Staff adheres to all customer service requirements

Use customer suggestions and complaints to guarantee that the needs of the customers are being met

Increase customers and bulk customers numbers for the department

Planning the daily/ monthly operations of the Butchery Department

Receiving stock and ensure cutting, packing and merchandising is up to SPAR standards and Erarite Policies and Procedures.

Participate in the sales and marketing of the Butchery Department

Responsible for the general departmental costing

Scheduling of the staff ensuring adherence to scheduling procedure

Induction and training of new staff members to the expected level

Address performance and personnel issues in a timely manner

Take responsibility to meet the performance targets as set by Senior Store Management

Ensure attendance of staff is at the company level required

Value of information provided to HR Office and Senior Store Management

Perform all administrative functions related to this position

**Qualification**:
Grade 12 (Matric)

Approx. 3 years' Blokman experience

5 Years Store Experience

Salary - Market Related

Working Hours - Monday to Sunday - Shifts (operational needs)
