Job Title: Content Strategist - Hospitality Consultancy & Restaurant Brands
Location: Port Elizabeth
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Role Overview
The Content Strategist will work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials, menu designs, and digital content for both the consultancy and restaurant brands. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Content Strategist will play a key role in ensuring visual consistency and branding across all platforms, developing engaging content, and supporting marketing campaigns for the company's in-house restaurants and consultancy projects.
Key Responsibilities
** Content Creation & Design**
- Create digital and print materials such as menus, flyers, promotional graphics, and social media content for both in-house restaurant brands and consultancy clients.
- Develop content that aligns with each brand’s identity, ensuring cohesive visuals and messaging across all platforms.
- Design visually appealing promotional materials for restaurant events, seasonal campaigns, and consultancy projects.
- Create and maintain content calendars to plan and schedule content across multiple channels.
Collaborate with Marketing Team
- Work closely with the marketing team to create content that supports ongoing social media campaigns, digital marketing efforts, and in-venue promotions.
- Collaborate with external freelancers to ensure visual content meets overall marketing and branding objectives.
- Support the marketing team by creating graphic content for promotions, events, and social media alongside photographic content.
Campaign Support
- Collaborate on ideas for new branding initiatives, restaurant openings, and other major campaigns to ensure fresh, innovative content.
Content Performance Tracking
- Monitor the performance of content across social media platforms and websites, providing feedback to the marketing team on optimizing visuals for better engagement.
- Analyze performance data and suggest creative adjustments to improve content performance, reach, and engagement.
**Requirements**:
** Experience in graphic design and content creation, ideally within the hospitality or food industries.**
** Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.**
** Strong attention to detail and ability to align visuals with brand guidelines.**
** Excellent collaboration and communication skills.**
** Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook) and familiarity with digital marketing.**
Additional Information
This role is based in Port Elizabeth and may involve occasional travel to support on-site promotional events or content creation.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to R9 000,00 per month
