Project Coordinator

**Work Description**: The Project Co-ordinator is a member of a Project Management Team responsible for administratively organising, coordinating, and tracking the Project Management Teams of the Research Projects and ensuring that the objectives and milestones are tracked, met and that the Project is organised and running smoothly through tracking of action items and decisions made during regular team meetings.
**Technical Work Responsibilities**
- Liaise with stakeholders internally and externally.
- Project co-ordination
- General administration
- Organize virtual meetings as requested.
- Organize meeting logistics (in person meetings)
- Meeting attendance and minuting
- Action item and decision tracking
- Coordinate site visits include travel arrangements and logistics
- Tracking and collating reporting metrics and presenting these graphically for team review
- Consolidating and formatting of study manuals, documents and logs
- Data capturing
- Co-ordination of project team with fill diaries
- Support project staff in the monitoring and evaluation of supervisory efforts.
- Strong organisational skills
- Superior interpersonal skills
- Multi-tasker with a strong work ethic
- Expert communication skills
**Education**
- Matric certificate with English (first language)
**Experience**
- 2 years' experience in co-ordination and or management of teams
- 8 years' work experience
**Requirements**:
- Occasional overnight travel (up to 20%) by land or air if required
- Valid passport & Work Permit
- Own Car
- Valid Driver’s license
- Advanced personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, word processing, spread sheets and graphical representation of data.
- Efficient in Microsoft Office
- Willing to work overtime.
- Excellent command of the English language
