Bombela Maintenance is looking to recruit 1 x Senior Technician.

**The main purpose of this role is to **ensure safe, reliable and available trains as per customer requirements, primarily through corrective and preventative maintenance and repairs.

These roles will be based at the Gautrain Maintenance Depot in Midrand, Johannesburg.

**YOUR ROLE**:

- Ensure compliance to safety, quality assurance and improvements
- Corrective Maintenance
- Preventative Maintenance
- MAXIMO administration
- Train Rescue and Re-railing
- Materials, tools & Equipment
- Effective teamwork and self-management

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**:

- N3 - N6 National Diploma, Trade Test, S4 National Diploma.
- 3 to 4 years post qualification experience in rolling stock maintenance
- Advanced computer literacy
- Computer System Diagnostic skills
- Maximo experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Railway experience required
- Advanced mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Advanced pneumatics
- Reading of drawings and schematics (electrical, pneumatic & mechanical)
- Mechanical and Electrical repairs
- Follow corrective maintenance procedures and instructions
- Accurate fault reporting
- Ability to work shifts
- Fit and robust
- South African citizen
