Consultant Pathologist

Our client one of Southern Africa’s foremost pathology laboratories is looking for a Consultant Pathologist: Histology

Purpose of Position:
To consult with clients (doctors and patients) and laboratory personnel. To manage the laboratory and establish and maintain a high quality pathology service

**Requirements**:
FC Path(SA) (required), HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field (required), MBChB (required), M Med (Pathology) (required)

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise Clients on life threatening results
- Continuous Education for Pathology laboratories
- Maintain client relations to promote the image of the Laboratory
- Marketing, Oversee the standard of the work performed, overall operation and administration in the laboratory
- Promotion of Professional Standards and Expertise, Provision of Continuous Pathology/Clinical Laboratory Service: Consultation with doctors,
- Control and monitoring of results, Result verification, Reporting, Participation in Peer Group
- Sign-out all abnormal results according to criteria

**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Westridge, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
