We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated **Junior Bookkeeper** to join our finance team at Jacaranda International Pre-Primary and School. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone looking to grow their career in accounting and finance. The Junior Bookkeeper will assist the Financial Senior Manager in managing day-to-day financial tasks, including data entry, organising accounts, assisting with customer queries and maintaining financial records using Sage/Pastel.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the daily bookkeeping tasks, including processing payments, invoices, and receipts
- Record financial transactions in the accounting system (SAGE)
- Assist customers with any financial queries or complaints
- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Support the finance team and Senior Manager with any other accounting duties as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Some experience in bookkeeping or accounting (internship or previous role preferred)
- Familiarity with SAGE/Pastel accounting software is essential
- Basic understanding of financial principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel

**Contract type**: Contract position, with possibility of becoming Permanent depending on performance.
