**Reporting to the Business Improvement Head (in Country) the role operates in a number of centres in Sub-Saharan Africa, for a duration of 18 months (minimum)**:

- Integrating, planning, tracking and managing the Business Enablement Programme within the country and ensuring project delivery against plan for all country project role players/stakeholders;
- Receiving standards, artefacts and guideline from the Central Project team and interpreting/adapting this for this country;
- Executing change management and training deliverables against plan including change impact assessment, communication, stakeholder management, training plans / scheduling, business readiness, etc.;
- Reporting project status for the country to the relevant BEP Project team (i.e. SuccessFactors, Transport Management System, Core Business Solution, etc.);
- Managing, mitigating and escalating project risks and issues.

**The Person**:

- Project Management Certification (preferred).
- 3 to 5 years experience in SAP4Hana/ERP deployments.
- Min 5 years experience in project and change management on large scale IT deployments.
- Qualified/trained on project and change methodologies and tools.
- Experience working effectively in a range of Africa markets and working with teams in Africa.
- Relocation a strong preference.
- Willing to travel essential.

**The Job**:
Project Management:

- Participate in the project planning activities and manage the execution of the relevant projects according to plan.
- Manage relationship with project stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all the sub project requirements and deliverables.
- Create a project environment that enables peak performance by team members.
- Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken to address this with the Central Project team.
- Analyse risk, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibilities for initiating mitigating action.
- Ensure proper use of project management methodology, standards, tools, processes and procedures.
- Coach to clarify assignments and deliverables to Project team; review quality of work and manage integration of team members' work.
- Schedule Project team meetings and track/monitor progress.
- Report status of country against project plan to Central Project team.
- Resolve project issues with support from Business Improvement or HR Head.
- Ensure that all readiness activities (including Data Management, process updates, etc.) are executed.

Change Management:

- Interpret and customise the BEP change management approach and develop plans for country per change management framework, deliverables in project plan, and provided standards.
- Work across country project role players to assess and understand change impact and capture into change, comms and readiness plans.
- Execute change management deliverables per plan and provide templates/standards including:

- Stakeholder analysis identify and assess country stakeholder interest and influence and relevant plans to ensure engagement and support;
- Customise (and where required translate) comms for country based on central comms and ensure delivery to relevant stakeholder groups;
- Change, engagement and communication plan build;
- Change Impact Assessment;
- Business Readiness Tracker;
- Change readiness assessments, including analysis of feedback and planning / capturing relevant actions;
- Develop anchoring plans and ensure sustained adoption of the solution;
- Other change management deliverables per project plan/phase.

Training Management:

- Interpret and customise the BEP training approach and develop plans for country per change management framework and deliverables in project plan and provided standards.
- Prepare training plans and map SAP roles to existing roles.
- Work with local Learning & Development Co-ordinator to schedule and execute training, monitor and capture attendance and evaluate/assess competence/confidence post training
- Manage the co-ordination of training logistics with the L&D Co-ordinator.
