The core purpose of this role:
To work with multi-disciplinary teams within an EPCM environment. To ensure conformance to client standards and adhere to applicable regulatory Acts (MHSA or OHSA). Lead design reviews and mentor junior designers and draughtsperson.
- Set-out process plant layouts as per engineer’s input.
- Ensure a high level of accuracy in all designs.
- Prioritse work to meet client deadlines.
- Act as design lead for a project when required.
- Ability to compile an accurate bill of materials (BOMs).
- Ensure that the design conforms to the company’s drawing office standards.
- Conduct and lead design reviews.
- 2D and 3D modeling capabilities.
- Experience in Autocad 2D & 3D, Inventor and Navisworks.
- Ensure latest equipment data is used and reference information is updated.
- Obtain vendor information when required.
- Validate designs and update drawings to as-built status.
- Site visits as and when required.
- Must be able to work independently.

Job Requirements

Qualification:

- NHD or N6

**Experience**:

- 10 years experience in the role of Draughtsperson
- Technical Report Writing
- Previous Materials Handling Design work
