MRP Clerk

Signal Hill Products is looking for an exciting, dynamic, and ambitious individual to join team at a leading Cape Town based brewery as a MRP Clerk.

**What Will You Do?**

The MRP Clerk’s responsibilities will include ensuring all stock levels are maintained and sufficient for the production plan using the ERP system. In addition, monitor material flow to identify bottlenecks, forecast potential problems and react to any plan changes. Assist the planning manager in ensuring all schedules changes are actioned by the respective departments.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Accessing the weekly, monthly, and quarterly requirements of the materials.
- Ensuring minimum stock levels are maintained and reorder points are adhered to. - Verifying the required materials and generate purchase requisitions.
- Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
- Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, etc.
- Tracking production volume against plan.
- Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
- Liaising with operations, manufacturing, and purchasing.
- Assist with managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
- Track planning KPIs - stock holding, aged stock, Days OOS, Schedule reliability etc.

**Requirements of the Role**:

- Tertiary degree/diploma in business, logistics, inventory management, industrial engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 1 year experience in inventory management or related position - Exposure to ERP systems advantageous
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes advantageous.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
