Our client is seeking an product specialist to join their team in Mogalakwena, Limpopo.

**Primary Purpose**

To be the main and primary product specialist on the products operating with the Company control philosophy and others that may be upgraded, and be part of the field service specialist team to support the Ardvarc Autonomous drills, Drillwise drills, Lidar (HazzTech) Systems, TZ Shovel, Dragline and future prospects (Limpopo).

**Essential Functions**

**Product Specialism**
- Form part of, develop and lead the build teams locally and globally on all Ardvarc autonomous drill conversions
- Form part of the Site Level Support team at Mogalakwena and provide high levels of technical support, upgrades and training to site and site teams.
- Be self-sufficient and autonomous in your development to further your knowledge and skills on the above-mentioned assets without supervision for extended periods of time
- Support the successful implementation of the product line at the customer site through interfacing with the customer throughout the implementation, launch and continues operation of products
- Support the company sales staff and help identify and properly refer new opportunities for products and services.
- Work with technical experts of the company product lines in addition to all subsystems
- Follow the orders and directions of the company and any person appointed to direct on its behalf
- Devote the whole of your time and attention during the companys normal business hours and such reasonable amount of time as may be necessary having regard to the exigencies of the business of the company
- Submit to the company any information and reports as may be required of you in connection with the performance of your duties
- Provide training, guidance and leadership to employees of the company as may be requested from you
- Work with corporate engineering for both guidance and providing site feedback on the Company products and to develop, program and implement automation and AC and DC drive systems
- Work with Corporate engineering to develop, program and implement PLC and/or HMI systems
- Supports "on-call" requests from Application Engineering and/or Regional Service Centres
- Complete all reasonable tasks and requirements from the company.

**Other**

- Operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.
- Promote strong company image and maintain positive working relationships at all times including professional behavior with customers, vendors, and co-workers on a daily basis.

- Perform work according to established company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as requested.

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or work experience.
- Qualified instrumentation trade
- PMP Project Management qualification highly advantageous

**Experience**:

- Five years engineering experience in an industrial environment with focus on automation and.
- Mining, metals, and/or automation industry experience preferred.
- Advanced experience in SQL systems and reporting
- Advanced experience in HMI systems
- Advanced experience in communication protocol(Modbus, Canbus, Ethernet, etc.)
- Knowlede of similar programable devices from ABB and Siemens
