Primary Function

The successful incumbent will be the primary point of contact for our guests, ensuring their comfort, satisfaction, and an unforgettable stay. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for creating positive and lasting impressions.

Key Performance Areas:

- Adopt a service-orientated approach when assisting with telephonic requests, in compliance with agreed service delivery standards.
- Maintenance of reservation details of guests on the system.
- Liaise with other organisations to effectively resolve guest issues regarding bookings etc
- Working closely will all departments to coordinate and deliver a cohesive guest experience
- Ensure that the Reception team obtains all required reservation information prior to arrival and follows up on arrival details on the day.
- Oversee the guest departure experience, including payment of account and obtaining keys where applicable.
- Ensure all guest complaints are reported to Management immediately.
- Reservations assistance would be a secondary role, and Guest Liaison being the primary role

Position Requirements:

- Matric or Grade 12 equivalent
- Previous experience in guest relations or a customer-facing role in the hospitality industry is a pre-requisite
- Previous experience with Timeshare will be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Be deadline orientated & have ability to work under pressure
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Un-endorsed Code 08 driver’s license
- Excellent time management, self-discipline, interpersonal & problem-solving skills
- Above average computer literacy
- Fluent in English & Afrikaans. A third African language would be an advantage.
