**Requirements**: Valid Code B driver’s license **-** Proficiency in at least 2 of the official languages of the Western Cape
(Afrikaans/English/isiXhosa - read, write & speak) Good management, supervision, human relations, interpersonal and communication skills **-**
Ability to give attention to detail **-** High level of responsibility Ability to work under pressure and to deal with conflict situations Minimum
competency levels as required by Municipal Financial Regulations Must be physically fit and able bodied **-** Required to work in all weather
conditions **- **Required to work outside normal working hours during emergencies and planned overtime Required to be on standby.

**Qualification**: Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably a National Diploma in Horticulture or related qualifications in
facilities management
Computer literacy: MS Office

**Experience**: Five (5) - Eight (8) years relevant experience.

**Key Performance Areas**:Manage and coordinates the key performance areas and result indicators associated with the functional operation,

rehabilitation and maintenance of public facilities and sport development in general including: Parks, sport fields, swimming pool, open spaces,

municipal buildings, cemeteries, admin support and sport development Manages, review and provide inputs with the immediate, short and long

term managerial objectives and plans (3 to 5 years) associated with the provision of services related to the Division** **Manages, review and provide

inputs to the Manager on long term plans for the human resources functionality in respect of the Division Manages, directs and controls outcomes

associated with the utilization, productivity and performance of personnel in the Section** **Manages and co-ordinates procedures and processes

associated with maintaining employment relations and workplace peace** **Manages the implementation of financial controls/procedures and

provides information to support financial planning sequences** **Manages the formulation of specific contracts and tender documents and controls

contractual obligations in respect of the relevant areas of responsibility Initiates the compilation of new corporative/administrative related policies

and/or changes to existing policies** **Implements procedures, systems and controls to regulate specific work and associated sequences associated

with the functionality Manages, co-ordinates and controls key dimensions and requirements associated with occupational health and safety within

the Division Manages, co-ordinates and controls specific processes associated with the implementation, monitoring and communication phases of

projects pertaining to the different functionalities** **Manages the outcomes associated with the maintenance of municipal facilities and amenities **-**

Manages, co-ordinates and monitors sequences associated with the reservation and preparation of facilities/amenities for public functions /

meetings, etc. Manages and monitors the development of sport within the municipal area Disseminates information on outcomes, current

developments, problems and constraints and/or makes strategic presentations on client services and complaints** **Manages and controlling specific

administrative and reporting requirements associated with the key performance and result indicators of the functionality **-** Any other related duty as

requested by the supervisor.
