**An industry leader within the financial advisory industry, based in the NORTH WEST PROVINCE, within Potchefstroom, is recruiting for experienced, qualified and skilled Short-Term Insurance Claims Consultant**

**Remuneration**:
To be discussed during the interview process.

**Nature of employment**:
The successful incumbent will be employed on a permanent basis after completion of a probationary period.

**Experience**

**Formal education and qualifications as a minimum requirement**
- Grade 12
- RE 5
- Fully computer literate (MS OFFICE)
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.

**Responsibilities and knowledge**:

- Register and update claims from clients
- Liaise with insurers and clients on all aspects of the claims process
- Following up with Insurers / Call Centers regarding claims progress
- Negotiate claim settlements
- Handle client queries effectively and professionally

**Competencies**:

- Professional
- Presentable, Well spoken, Outgoing
- Excellent people skills
- Self-starter taking own initiative in problem solving
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal)
