Cad Operator

1. Managing subordinate colleagues as and when needed to ensure deadlines are met for projects and client expectations.

2. Compile detailed designs and reports in accordance with SANS standards and international codes as may be required for the fire protection and wet services industry.

3. Compile estimates and bill of quantities to reflect cost of works for the project scope of works.

4. Generate design drawings in electronic format as may be required reflecting the designs for implementation by contractors. Generating prints in hardcopy for issuing to project contractors.

5. Liaising with clients, contractors and other parties and attending meetings for projects.

6. Interim site inspections for design and quality assurance inspection and compiling QA reports following inspections if required.

7. Scheduling of meetings as may be required to assist the office and specifically for the projects which the employee is responsible for.

8. Report back to office Manager, following project meetings attended on a daily basis to ensure Management is informed on project progress and inputs required from Responsible Engineer to the project.

9. Drive to and from meetings as may be required with own means of transport.

10. Request in house training on a time-to-time basis as may be required to ensure personal skills training in the line of duties. Remember, if in doubt always ask.

11. Assist the office on an administrative basis which could include printing, invoicing, cashflow forecasts, marketing, accounting, project archiving, arranging of files and planning tasks that may arise, stock take to ensure consumables in hand for prints, binding etc.

12. Any other task that may arise and discussed with the employee.

**Salary**: R8,000.00 - R14,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fairland, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fire Protection: 1 year (required)
