Debt Collector Agent

**Profile**:
We are looking for a strong determine individual, who is persuasive, and target driven. The incumbent will be working with client to collect outstanding debts for the company. Must display thorough understanding of the collection industry, its regulations, and procedures.

**Duties**:
Negotiate payment arrangements with delinquent debtor’s accounts

Trace and locate debtors and initiate recovery of outstanding debts

Manage progress of assigned debtor’s accounts

Prepare and manage accounts for external collectors

Educate debtors on legal collections processes

**Requirements**:
Matric

Computer literacy (MS Office)

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Debt Collector

Experience as a field tracer in debt collection in the Financial Services industry will be an added advantage

Knowledge of tracing systems

Knowledge of relevant legal requirements (National Credit Act, Debt Collectors Act, POPPIA)

Drivers Licence

**Salary**: R5,500.00 - R7,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- KwaMashu, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
