**Job Specification: Insurance Broker (Short-Term and/or Life Insurance Products)**

**Position: Insurance Broker (Short-Term and/or Life Insurance Products)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and actively engage with potential clients to analyze their insurance needs and recommend appropriate short-term and life insurance solutions.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, promptly addressing inquiries, and offering ongoing support.
- Collaborate with insurance underwriters and providers to negotiate favorable terms and coverage for clients.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and new insurance products to provide up-to-date advice to clients.
- Utilize your extensive insurance knowledge to educate clients about policy details, benefits, and exclusions.
- Prepare and present detailed insurance proposals, highlighting the value and benefits of our products.
- Monitor policy renewals, proactively contact clients for updates, and facilitate the renewal process.
- Achieve or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum of a High School Certificate (Matric).
- At least 2 years of proven experience as an Insurance Broker, specializing in short-term and/or life insurance products.
- Preferred possession of the RE5 certification.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, industry regulations, and market trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have own transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Proven negotiation and sales skills, with a track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- Ability to work independently, manage client relationships, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in using standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite).
