Boiler Operator

**Eastern Cape**, East London**

**Negotiable Basic Salary (Market related, Negotiable)**

**Opportunity Available Our well known client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ a Boiler Operator to join their dynamic team in East London.**

- **Prepare the coal boiler for the weekly production plan**
***:

- **Operate and control coal boiler on a shift basis**
***:

- **Ensure coal supply and ash removal**
***:

- **Start/stop steam supply to the Factory**
***:

- **Adhere to start up, operating and shutdown procedure.**
***:

- **Maintain and adhere to all housekeeping standards and procedures.**
***:

- **Execute basic preventative maintenance and risk control on the boiler**
***

**Job Requirement**:
***
- **Grade 12**
***:

- **John Thompson Boiler Operator certificate or equivalent.**
***:

- **1-2 years relevant experience in operating a boiler and executing basic maintenance on the boiler.**
***:

- **Basic tool handling and technical skills**
***

***

**Preferred Requirements**

***
- **2 to 3 Years’ experience within a FMCG environment.**
***:

- **Forklift licence will be an advantage**
***
