WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**
- Responsible for machining of prototype hardware.
- Maintain precision tooling and machinery.
- Assist the Propulsion, Warheads and Aircraft Bomb technical team in day-to-day activities.
- Assist in assembling Propulsion, Warheads and Aircraft Bomb components and assemblies.
- Manage consumables, upkeep, and tidiness of the group’s technical facilities.
- Initiate, track and drive requisitions to completion.
- Assist with writing of technical documentation.
- Any other ad hoc task as requested by line management.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- NQF 4 (Maths and Physical Science).
- Experience within the manufacturing and production environment.
- Milling & Turning or Toolmaking experience would be preferred.
- Trade tested Toolmaker of Fitter and Turner would be advantageous.
- Driver’s License.
- Computer Literate.
- Knowledge of 3D and 2D CAD packages.
- Knowledge of CNC/CAM processes preferred.
- Ability to work in a team and function independently with drive and initiative
