**What We're Looking For**:
The main purpose of this position is to oversee the technical creation of engaging video content with a focus on quality, efficiency, financial decision making, innovation and automation. This is achieved by overseeing the post-production of video content for 2U educational assets to the highest standard, in keeping with the company and partner's visual style guides, and by managing Post Production Managers and Video Editors/ICs as needed. The Senior Manager, Post Production oversees the video and audio editing and performance by the Post Production Unit by conducting quality assurance of team members' work, and manages and supports their performance. The Post-Production Sr. Manager will report to the Director of Media Operations, and also assist the department VP with the day-to-day management of the department in terms of innovation and process improvement.

**Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To**:

- Overseeing assigned projects, supervising and supporting post production managers during post-production
- Driving collaboration with other departments and the broader Learning team to understand project needs and ensure output of the highest quality
- Driving the improvement of process strategies, video post-production principles, and opportunities for innovation, that meet the requirements of the team as a whole
- Managing internal team member/IC performance and workload in a constructive, supportive manner with a focus on quality, efficiency and, for internal team members, skills and career development
- Taking final responsibility for quality of video output for assigned courses/components

**Things That Should Be In Your Background**:

- 8+ years relevant work experience
- 3+ years management experience (beneficial)
- Ability to adapt quickly to shifting requirements, and negotiate with stakeholders to ensure the appropriate business needs are prioritized
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Previous experience as a people manager required
- Tertiary Education in relevant field (beneficial)
