An exciting opportunity has become available within the Construction Services industry, for a Programme Manager with our client based in Cape Town.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- In-depth experience in construction
- Programme Management / Project Management experience
- Qualifications in Quantity Surveying essential
- PrQS registered with SACQSP

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- This role is in essence a Programme Manager role
- 20% of the position will be relating to normal QS functions
- Assisting with the managing, administering and monitoring the delivery of various projects from inception to close out as well as supporting contractors to successfully deliver these projects
- Construction Support Management on Capital and Maintenance Projects
- Lead, manage and oversee the Programmes by:

- Communicating regarding FCA progress to the Department Manager
- Communicating with Suppliers, consultants and principle agents
- Assisting in drafting reports
- Ensuring that reporting deadlines are met and adhered to
- General Management
- Driving and influencing team, clearly setting goals, monitoring performance and progress regularly against target goals.
- Take the lead in working with a variety of influential internal and external, company stakeholders, suppliers and customers.
- Provide guidance to the team.
- Fostering an environment of co-operation, communication and customer service
- Developing and encouraging teamwork and learning.
