Manager: Finanace

To lead, develop, motivate, and manage the performance of a team of accounting staff and ensure an optimally skilled, motivated, and high-performance team.
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the stores, ensuring timeous and accurate recording of financial transactions, in compliance with accounting principles and regulations and the Group’s financial policies and procedures.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate completion of store trial balances and supporting schedules
- Final review and sign-off of monthly balance sheet recon packs
- Review, analyse and comment on the monthly results of the stores and present to management.
- Provide support to internal and external auditors as far as it relates to the financial information prepared by the SSC.
- Assist with the preparation of store budgets.
- Preparation of cash flow forecasts for stores and the SSC
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- To uphold and promote the company values
- Grade 12
- BCom Accounting degree with completed (SAICA) articles
- Preferably a qualified CA (SA) or similar
- Experienced in full accounting function
- Experienced in financial management
- Minimum 3 of years managing a large team of finance staff
