**LOCATION**:Heidelberg, South Africa

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Ensuring and adhering to machine Electrical safety. (keeping electrical cabinets always locked, No bypass of electrical Safeties and interlocks on Machines and adhering to the LOTOTO process)
- Provide an Electro
- Technical service to production areas to ensure machine availability throughout the shift.
- Supporting all IWS activities in cells, reporting, fixing and attending to all breakdowns and process failures at minimum impact to production.
- Ensuring to find defects on machines, record them and fix them.
- Performing maintenance on production machines and peripheral equipment according to maintenance plan to ensure machine integrity.
- Inspection of assigned production equipment as per request from production personnel and update fault list accordingly.
- Update production equipment documentation, software and drawings.
- Installation of new and upgrades to existing equipment and peripheral equipment.
- Communicate and liaise effectively with relevant functions to keep all stakeholders informed and to address and seek solutions for problems of mutual interest for continuous improvement
- Adhere to the BAT house rules.
- Active participation in waste reduction initiatives and ISO/PI&T audits.
- Compliance to BAT and EHS procedures according to 5S Principles.
- Assist other Departments with projects and investigations

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- National Diploma (S4/N6) Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Relevant technical knowledge and ability applicable to area of responsibility
- Programming and Troubleshooting experience on Bechoff Twin’Cat and Siemens S7 (Non-Negotiable).
- Understanding of Servo-Drive Systems and VSDs added advantage
- Resource management knowledge
- Must have at least five years relevant experience in the FMCG or equivalent business sector.
