- To provide strategic and tactical direction in the development and delivering of a seamless integration of life Risk solutions with financial planning and advisory processes within Momentum Financial Planning; and in doing so, to play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future of life risk solutions within the holistic framework of advice. The focus of the role is to provide thought leadership on life risk approaches in line with advice processes and financial planning and to promote and operationalize the life risk strategy by maximizing new business as well as cross and upsell opportunities in the MFP life risk book,, with the aim of enabling financial advisers to manage and enhance the financial wellness of their clients.**Requirements**:
- Legal degree (B.Com, LLB)
- Degree in Business Management/Business Sciences/Commerce
- Post graduate diploma in financial planning
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
- 15 years' experience in the financial services industry; with specific focus on risk management, financial planning and risk advisory;
- 5- 8 years' experience in registered financial advisers networks;
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Global financial markets and emerging industry trends
- Governance Frameworks
- Life Risk Advice and Advice processes
- Financial Analysis
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Formulation, implementation and promotion of the strategic life risk strategy, financial planning and advisory practices and providing thought leadership within MFP(Internal perspective):
- Develop and communicate forward-thinking strategies and frameworks for life risk within MFP with the aim of client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Alignment of fiduciary services in line with MFP’s advice philosophy and financial planning process
- Develop and articulate a strategic vision and roadmap for MFP advisory practices and financial planning related to life risk aligned with broader business objectives and market trends.
- Lead the execution of initiatives to drive business growth, enhance market positioning, and deliver sustainable value to clients and stakeholders in relation to life risk and fiduciary services.
- Evaluate emerging trends and opportunities in financial technology (fintech), identifying strategic partnerships to support the organization's growth objectives in relation to life risk and fiduciary services
- Develop and execute channel-specific life risk strategies, frameworks and -advice processes while driving vertical integration and innovation, ensuring seamless alignment with the strategic vision.
- Ensure alignment with the client base, risk profiles, and objectives within MFP
- .Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and risk mitigation.
- Develop and implement standardized processes and best practices for integrating life risk solutions seamlessly to financial advice, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational goals.
- .Analyze data and research to identify unique opportunities regarding life risk solutions for MFP as part of advisory processes and financial planningPpromote the connection between Life Risk Philosophy, Elite Wealth Process and deployment plan.
Lead and grow risk management, advice processes and financial planning in a channel-specific and client centric manner to contribute to client growth, engagement and sound financial advice (Client perspective):
- Collaborate closely with implementation teams to drive successful execution.
- Champion a client-centric culture throughout MFP, emphasizing the importance of delivering personalized, high-quality financial advice, exceptional service experiences and sustainable client relationships.
- Identify and create strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders to understand business priorities and requirements.
- Provide credible and appropriate market insights expertise and advice to network of provincial heads, sales managers, supervisors and tied advisors with the purpose to enable client growth and retention.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to deliver on service level agreements with regards to professionalism, accountability and competitive targets.
- Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility.
- Work in conjunction with brand and marketing manager to enable stakeholders to deploy effective strategies towards client growth, engagement and sound financial advice.
