Job description

This is a summary of what the job involves to help you decide if you are a good fit.You will be responsible for human resource functions, overseeing the department’s time and attendance, as well as any queries should it not be resolved within the department.-
What you'll do

This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.
- Leave Management
- Employee onboarding process / Induction
- Monitoring of scheduling/time and attendance
- Employee exiting process
- Recruitment
- HR and Payroll administration
- Monitoring of any disciplinary action and grievances/IR
- Facilitate terminations and conduct exit interviews
- General filing and any other administrative task as required by management.
- Co-ordinating any internal or statutory training
- Responsible for driving the Employment Equity process
- Finish tasks on time, even when it's busy and things are moving quickly.
- Speak and communicate well.
- Stay organized and notice even small things.
- Find solutions creatively and think differently.
- Get along with people and build good relationships.
- Work well with others in a changing team.

- Clear criminal record

Preferences

Meeting the preferences would be a plus, but if you don't, it won't stop companies from considering you.
- Experience: Other
- Within 15km from job
- Experience in human resources
- Payroll administration in retail environment
- Computer literacy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Human resources certificate would be advantageous
