**Job description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Hire, train, and supervise staff
- including chefs, housekeeping staff and driver.
- Ensure all orders are captured on the POS and end of the day POS sale reconciliation is done.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing customer complaints.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the running of the café.
- Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between the front and back of house.
- Ensure that the food served at the Cafe meets high standards of quality, taste, and presentation. This includes working closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that recipes are followed, and that food is prepared in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for customers.
- Manage and motivate staff to achieve high levels of performance and job satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Ensure that the Café complies with all local and national regulations, including health and safety codes, employment laws, and licensing requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Front of House Restaurant Supervisor or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and motivational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations and industry trends
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and inventory management software

**Education and Experience**:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred

At least 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role, with a focus on front of house operations

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: R8,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month
