Role Purpose
The Upsell Sales Advisor is primarily responsible for all the telephonic sales with clients. The Upsell Sales team will need to ensure that individual sales and team budgets are met. This role requires engagement with clients on an ongoing basis, understanding the clients' needs by conducting a thorough needs analysis and educating the client in relation to their policy.
Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- FAIS Credits and/or a suitable tertiary qualification
- Previous sales experience is essential
- A successful track record
Duties & Responsibilities
- Converting leads/quotes to sales in terms of the minimum quantity and quality targets that are in place including, but not limited to:Minimum monthly premium written
- Average premium value
- Nett conversion ratio of quotes to sales
- Policy quality target
- Cancellation ratio
- Meet daily, weekly and monthly quote and sales targets
- Complete all documentation for a sale
- Adhere to Underwriting Guidelines
- Adhere to Sales Process timelines and requirements
- Ensure all documentation related to the sale are provided by the client
- Keep up to date and fully informed on product comparisons of opposition products
