Machinist Turner

**Key Performance Area**:

- Assist with new installations and projects.
- Ensure machines are clean at all times.
- Ensure workshop is clean at all times.
- General assistance and any and all tasks allocated by direct or indirect manager.
- General hand work required such as but not limited to welding, grinding, cutting etc.
- Good working knowledge of Edgecam software which included 3D profiling.
- Machine operating on CNC turning and milling machines.
- Machine operating on general turning & milling machines.
- Make sure and maintain tools in a good, clean and working order
- Programming on CNC mill & lathe.
- Responsible for daily planned maintenance and breakdown maintenance on customer moulds.
- Responsible for performing all administration related maintenance functions correctly and timorously.
- Setup of jobs on machines.
- To complete all specified work within the time limits.
- To help to ensure that all preventative checks are done.
- To help to ensure that start-up checks are done.
- To make sure that all plant tools is kept in good and working order.
- To perform mould services.
- To undertake all planned maintenance work as per schedules.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Tool Jig and Die maker or similar qualifications
- Mechanical/Electrical knowledge of injection moulding tools.
- Knowledge of factory maintenance.
- Knowledge of TIG welding.
- Basic electrical experience.
- Knowledge of injection moulding tools as well as press tooling.
- Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance
- Good knowledge of English.
