Restaurant Manager

Centurion, South Africa WIMPY RESTAURANT Full time

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- To oversee and manage the day to day operations of the restaurant.
- To adhere to company standards and service levels.
- To increase sales and manage costs.
- To estimate food needs, place orders with distributors, and schedule the delivery of fresh food and supplies.
- To conduct stock takes and investigate/manage variances.
- To manage staffing levels and weekly roster.
- To enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
- To be aware of all the statutory regulations affecting safety and ensure that any safety hazard is rectified.
- To motivate staff and maintain standards of morale.
- To ensure regular stock takes of all operating equipment at specified intervals.
- To hold regular (on the job) training sessions to ensure that staff can perform their duties correctly.

**Desired Work Experience**
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role in a Franchised Restaurant, preferrably with Wimpy experience.

**Education and Skills**
- Grade 12
- Proficient in the English language
- Good Communication Skills
- Computer Literate (Excel, E-Mail and Online Ordering)
- Ability to liaise and interact with customers
- Ability to lead, control and supervise staff
- In possession of a valid driver's licence and own transport (will be advantageous)

**Salary**: R8,500.00 - R12,000.00 per month
