Purpose of Position:

To manage all Activities in the relevant laboratory on a daily basis to ensure that set targets and objectives are achieved and maintain high quality standards at all times
Requirements:

Certificate: Business Management, Certificate: Financial Management, Diploma: Management, HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field, National Diploma: Biomedical Technology

Required Experience:
Knowledge: Google and Google Mail, Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word, Senior and / or supervisory or managerial experience
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath, Manage all Quality Control procedures in the laboratory in order to ensure best practices are upheld, Manage and monitor laboratory staff in order to ensure that the goals of the department are achieved, Manage the Histology and Cytology departmental budget in order to control expenses and ensure the correct allocation of funds, Perform operational management tasks in order to ensure operational priorities and initiatives that may be required, Process routine bench work in laboratory in order to ensure efficient processing of specimens
