**Established Retail Supplier is on the hunt for an analytical, highly numerate individual with strong business acumen and a keen interest in the statistical side of retail.**

**Criteria**:
**National Diploma or Degree level Qualification in Finance, Supply Chain, Retail Management, Consumer Science or related (critical)**

**Experience as a Financial Administrator, Bookkeeper, Trainee Planner, Planning Assistant, Retail Analyst or related is critical**

Keen interest in current issues facing the retail industry

**Advanced Excel proficiency (totally critical)**

High attention to detail

**Daily Functions**:
Support to the Buying and Planning teams at head office retailer based in CBD

Stock management

Ensure the accurate distribution of seasonal stock to optimise sales

Ensure timeous ordering of stock in line with forecast

Display quick reaction to change in trading patterns and update future orders on Excel

Replenish retail sales across various outlets

Allocation of stock to stores

Maintain efficient stock cover in stores

Intermediate to Advanced Excel work - Spreadsheets, Formula, VLook ups, Pivot Tables, Pie Charts, Graphs

Reporting

Produce timeous, accurate, and concise monthly reports - Product Performance, Best Sellers, Worst Sellers, Mark downs, Promotions

Analyse Financial and Product trends

Produce weekly reporting for Trade meetings and Management meetings

Maintain sales logs

Loading new stores

Manage Planograms

Support Buyers and Planners on Business and Trade Meetings

Ensure population of sales data and stock data for POD management meetings

Assist in identifying over and under stock items for weekly POD meetings

Maintain budgeted stock cover by item and by store

**Education**:

- Diploma (required)

**Experience**:

- Finance Admin, Trainee Planner or related: 1 year (required)
