Diesel Technician (Plant Hire) - Midrand - Gauteng

**Essential Requirements**:

- Qualified Red Seal (Trade Test)
- **_Main experience required - Compressors (Engines and Air ends troubleshooting and preventative maintenance)_**:

- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel)
- Drivers license is essential
- Ability to work independently

**Job Function**:

- Service, maintain and repair plant hire equipment in the workshop
- To effectively diagnose and fix mechanical and minor electrical faults
- Engine overhauls
- Cylinder head assembly
- Air end assembly
- Attend to breakdowns whenever required
- Fault finding on damages, breakdowns and repairs.
- Submit relevant reports (breakdowns, maintenance, expense, timesheets etc.)
- Inventory control by managing the supply, storage and accessibility of parts and tools
- Complies with all health and safety requirements and general housekeeping and cleanliness

**Salary**:
R25k - R30k depending on years of experience + Provident Fund + Medical Aid Insurance
