Project: First Line Response

Maritz Electrical is currently recruiting for a Linesman.

**DUTIES**
- Repair of Service Connections
- Repair of service cables up to 35mm up to point of supply
- Fault finding on underground cables
- Replacement of consumer circuit breakers/fuses on the distribution network.
- Repairs, fault finding, construction & maintenance of LV over headlines
- Maintenance & repairs of streetlights including circuit breaker resets & replacements of lamps & switchgear.
- Fault finding & diagnostics of meters
- Meter replacement (pre-paid, conventional, MB2, all split meters, intermediate single and three phase meters)
- Responsible person on the team, responsible for the total execution and closure of all received notifications so that the KPIs are met.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Matric / NCV Level 4 / Equivalent Qualification - **Non Negotiable**
- Team Player
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Drivers Licence and fit to drive - **Non Negotiable**
- Trade Tested & **2 Years Post Trade Test** **relevant experience** in an electrical environment
- **Non Negotiable**
- Working knowledge of relevant Safety Legislation and Practices e.g. Construction regulations in terms of the OHS Act.
- Broad Knowledge of Electrical equipment
- Background knowledge of First Line Response an added advantage
