Trainee Desktop Publisher

Our client, a growing packaging company requires a creative Desktop Publisher to assist in the following

Must have used specialized software to edit and arrange materials for print. Gather existing materials or work with customers and Senior Desktop Publisher to create new artwork.

Find and edit graphics, such as photographs or illustrations.

Important text and graphic into desktop publishing software programs.

Position artwork and text on the page layout.

Select formatting properties, such as, text size, column width and spacing.
- Check proofs, or preliminary layouts for errors and make corrections.
- Finalize formatted documents form printing.

**Requirements**:

- Qualification in Desktop Publishing
- Knowledge of Computer Graphics
- Knowledge on Apple Mac operating system
- Experience on Illustrator CS6
- Must have an excellent eye for detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi task
- Must to be able to cope under pressure
- Printing and Packaging experience

Note: Further training to be provided

**Salary**: R12,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mount Edgecombe, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
